As part of the expanding Focus RS product range, AIRTEC Motorsport launches the Stage 4 intercooler upgrade suitable for track or street use.

The solution to increase the size and performance of the intercooler, within the constraints of the limited space behind the bumper, is based on a 60mm core which is twice as tall and almost 100mm longer than the standard item. This offers a massive increase in overall capacity compared to the original intercooler, as well as a 127% increase in frontal area compared to standard, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.

Together with high-flow end tanks and air diverter scoop to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than standard.

Combined with the 2.5"" hard boost tube upgrade? which replaces the 2"" OEM hoses. The increased diameter reduces restriction and improves flow, which in turn sees an instant increase in power, as seen during back-to-back dyno testing which saw a huge torque gain of 11.8 hp simply by fitting the new lines.

Note: Tubing available only in Pro-Series Black

Important note: the pre-facelift ST has a different radiator than the facelift and RS, this makes the left cold side silicone hose very tight against the radiator support. It is recommended to remove the radiator support bolt by prying the support to the right and re-drilling a new hole and then replacing the bolt. It""s very simple to do, but is it necessary to give you extra room for the larger 2.5"" cold side hose.
