TECHNICAL DATA

As part of the expanding Focus RS product range, AIRTEC Motorsport launches the Stage 2 intercooler upgrade suitable for track or street use.

To ensure there is no noticeable loss of performance during long periods of hard driving, an improved version of the third generation intercooler has been developed which includes an air intake to force cold air through the core, for more efficient flow and to ensure cooler charging temperatures.

The solution to increase the size and performance of the intercooler within the constraints of the limited space behind the bumper is based on a 60mm core, which is twice as high and almost 100mm longer than the standard item. This offers a massive increase in overall capacity compared to the original intercooler, as well as a 127% increase in frontal area compared to standard, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.

Together with the high-flow end tanks and air diverter scoop to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than standard.

No additional parts are required for assembly, it connects to standard size push tubes and comes with all necessary accessories.
