AIRTEC MOTORSPORT COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT – FORD FOCUS ST MK2 STAGE 1 GEN 3
As part of the expanding Focus RS product range, AIRTEC Motorsport launches the Stage 1 Gen 3 intercooler upgrade suitable for track or street use.
To ensure there is no noticeable loss of performance during long periods of hard driving, an even better version of the first ST intercooler originally released in 2005 has been developed. Generation 3 features a 60mm bar and smoother center section, reservoirs with cast ends for better flow and increased strength.
The solution to increase the size and performance of the intercooler, within the constraints of the limited space behind the bumper, is based on a 60mm core which is twice as tall and almost 100mm longer than the standard item. This offers a massive increase in overall capacity compared to the original intercooler, as well as a 127% increase in frontal area compared to standard, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.
The end tanks ensure that the flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than standard.
It is supplied complete with all accessories.
