The TTE475 for the 2.0 liter mqb engine, our evolution from the popular TTE470 sharing the same proven compressor and turbine, right now with the original recirculation function. Still keeping the original turbocharger turbine but cutting off the original blades for greater flow and to lower exhaust gas temperatures. We adapt a larger 7+7 blade milled billet supercharger, thus producing extra power but focused on similar IS38 response
We also fit our own CNC TTE muffler delete. Modify the turbo discharge silencer, remove the internals of the original baffles and fit a new straight through section, removing any restriction and its function as a noise canceling device, thus improving the flow and improving the sound.
We also replace the original thrust bearing for the in-house made TTE 360 deg upgrade.

Balance
Precisely balancing our turbochargers is a key critical factor in becoming a TTE upgrade unit as longevity and performance are key. A good balance also improves acoustics. Subsequently great care is taken with all TTE turbochargers to achieve our balance standards. The first parts are balanced at low speeds up to 2800 RPM in multiple planes using our single parts machine, then the components are assembled and then the CHRAs are dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in house VSR machine to acquire maximum balance, to a standard much higher than the OEM. Each turbocharger comes with serial numbered balance test result document.
