With this extremely high flow Y-pipe kit the performance of your 997 generation 2 will increase!

At the beginning of the development process of this product we spent a lot of time thinking about what would be the preferred way to build a Y-tube and here is the result of our conclusions and development process! Our tubes have both a very good load bearing capacity and low weight which is achieved by composing lightweight mandrel bent tubes with a high quality 3D freeform designed cast joint between them. We then welded the CNC machined connections for the bov and breather tubes onto the cast part.
This construction adds a lot of performance but just a little extra weight. do88 Performance Y-pipe weight 1.52 kg (3.35 lb) OEM plastic pipe weight 1.38 kg (3.04 lb) and competitor cast performance pipe weight 2.76 kg (6.08 lb)!

The tubes are then finished with a high quality powder coating that makes them look as good as they work! You can choose between the more discreet semi-gloss black and a fresh metallic silver finish.

The kit also includes 2 custom designed high quality silicone hoses, available in two different versions. The version you need depends on whether you will be installing the Y-pipe together with OEM intercoolers or do88 performance intercoolers. You can choose the hoses in the drop-down list above.

When it comes to airflow performance, our Y-tube totally outperforms the OEM Y-tube with 62% increased flow at the same pressure drop!

Please note that OEM parts were designed for the power level the car was originally built for. An increase in horsepower can cause the stock Y-pipe to hold back engine power. So, even on an engine with a software tune, the do88 performance Y-pipe will offer a performance increase over the OEM Y-pipe!
