As part of the expanding Focus RS product range, AIRTEC Motorsport launches the Gobstopper intercooler upgrade with 100mm center section to deliver increased performance through reduced charge temperatures compared to the original intercooler. This is especially important for remapped examples.

The solution to improve the OEM intercooler installed within the confines behind the bumper assembly is based on a high-flow single-pass core design: wider, taller and deeper than stock. This offers a massive increase in frontal area and a huge increase in capacity, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.

Despite this improvement, the kit fits perfectly behind the original bumper, requires no trimming or cutting and can be brought back to standard without any problems. The complete mounting kit includes all the correct accessories.

The intercooler is available in a Pro-Series Black finish (with or without the AIRTEC logo).

This is a must-have modification for any RS with improved performance to ensure charging temperatures remain low.
