Fiat Abarth 500 1.4 Turbo

The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new racing mesh (tube fin) with dimensions 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), specially developed for the needs of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance mesh offers an 85% larger inflow area and 131% larger mesh volume compared to the original charge air cooler. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for ideal internal air flow).

For the best possible heat exchange, the WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler is installed at the front of the vehicle and thus replaces the two original side coolers. Together with the WAGNERTUNING silicone hoses, the new elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this charge air cooler allows for the greatest possible reduction in the charge air path. As a result, and due to the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the overall response behavior could be significantly improved.

An anti-corrosion coating with thermally conductive properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from any environmental influences, whereby a permanent and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The assembly is carried out by replacing the original charge air cooler and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
