AIRTEC presents front-mount intercooler upgrade for Audi RS3 (8P)

Designed to fit all models, this free-flow intercooler is a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM setup.

Featuring a massive 120mm core design along with high-flow cast end tanks, the AIRTEC intercooler offers much greater surface area, efficiency and volume than standard. Despite this improvement, it fits perfectly with the original bumper and can be used with the original tubes.

As with all AIRTEC products, the intercooler has been tested back-to-back on the dyno against the OEM item. This showed a huge reduction in air charge temperatures compared to standard, as shown below:

Standard intercooler:
RUN1 – In the intercooler: 117 degrees – Out of the intercooler: 69 degrees
RUN2 – In the intercooler: 117 degrees – Out of the intercooler: 68 degrees
RUN3 – In the intercooler: 119 degrees – Out of the intercooler: 78 degrees

AIRTEC intercooler:
RUN1 – In intercooler: 116 degrees – Out of intercooler: 36 degrees
RUN2 – In intercooler: 117 degrees – Out of intercooler: 36 degrees
RUN3 – In intercooler: 118 degrees – Out of intercooler: 37 degrees

The complete assembly kit includes all necessary accessories, detailed instructions with images and should take approximately 4 hours to complete.
The intercooler is available in Pro-Series Black finish, with or without the AIRTEC logo.
