AIRTEC MOTORSPORT 500 ABARTH AUTOMATIC INTERCOOLER

Description

Replaces the very restrictive stock long-pipe dual intercooler setup with a 60mm high-flow center intercooler in AIRTEC design and a shorter alloy boost pipe kit. We keep the turbo spool fast by using 50mm piping from the turbo to the intercooler and 60mm from the intercooler to help match the throttle body, this combination offers a fast turbo spool paired with maximum power.

Dyno test results – results taken from the Fiat 500 Abarth, equipped with cat back exhaust and AIRTEC FMIC

• Run 1 – 120 degrees into the intercooler and 22 degrees out of the intercooler
• Run 2 – 122 degrees into the intercooler and 22 degrees out of the intercooler
• Run 3 – 123 degrees into the intercooler and 22 degrees out of the intercooler

The AIRTEC intercooler lowered intake temperatures by 100 degrees with each run and did not suffer from heat absorption
