TECHNICAL DATA

As part of the expanding Mk3 Focus product range, AIRTEC Motorsport launches the intercooler upgrade, to offer greater performance thanks to reduced charging temperatures compared to the original intercooler. This is especially important for remapped examples.

With tapered end tanks, this same specification intercooler has been tested up to 540 HP with an impressive 38 degree intake temperature.

The solution to improve the OEM intercooler installed within the confines behind the bumper assembly, is based on a high-flow single-pass core design: wider, taller and deeper than the original. This offers a massive increase in frontal area and a huge increase in capacity, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.

Despite this improvement, the kit fits perfectly with the original bumper and can be brought back to standard without problems. The complete mounting kit includes all necessary accessories.

The intercooler is available in Pro-Series Black or Natural Silver (with or without the AIRTEC logo).

DYNO TESTED
Our ST demo car produced 294.3 hp with an AIRTEC Stage 2 intercooler, AS Performance intake and cat-back exhaust system.
