Wagner Tuning competition intercooler kit, for Cupra Formentor VZ5 2.5TFSI.

The Competition intercooler has the following net dimensions: 620 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm. It offers an external charge air volume of 17.7 liters (OEM 9 litres). The new high-performance mesh from the competition (Tube Fine) ensures that adjacent components, e.g. the water cooler, enough airflow and it is also very light. The intercooler has a total weight of only 9.2 kg. The cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations for the best possible internal air flow. An air duct integrated into the end box allows the Competition high-performance mesh to be filled evenly. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø 70mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses.

Overall, this intercooler has much lower back pressure than the standard intercooler. Furthermore, it features an anti-corrosion coating with heat conduction properties, which ensures permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.

The installation is performed by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to perform.
