TTE""s first hybrid turbocharger for the M139 AMG 2.0 inline 4-cylinder engine.

The Stage 1 hybrid uses a larger BorgWarner supercharger and still retains the original exhaust turbine and ball bearing system, so it focuses on quick everyday boost response with motorsport durability.

Balance

Precise balancing of turbochargers is a key critical factor in becoming a TTE upgrade unit, as longevity and performance are key. Good balance also improves acoustics. Subsequently, great attention is paid to all TTE turbochargers to achieve the high balance standards. First the parts are balanced at low speed up to 2800 rpm on multiple planes using the single parts machine, then the components are assembled and then the CHRA is dynamically balanced, but this time depending on the application up to 250,000 rpm on multiple planes using the VSR system to achieve maximum balance, to a standard far superior to the OEM. Each turbocharger comes with a serial numbered balance test document.
