1.8L & 2.0L TSI EA888 lightweight Upgrade Pulley BAR-TEK

Lightened upgrade- crankshaft gear from BAR-TEK for all 1.8 and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines with 2nd and 3rd generation chain. The BAR-TEK crankshaft gear is made of high-strength aluminium and is extremely light compared to the standard part. This puts less strain on the engine and improves performance. Advantages at a glance: weighs just 400 grams, almost 1.5 kg lighter than the standard version less accelerated mass significantly better throttle response less strain on the engine faster revving of the engine milled from the solid with TDC marking If the crankshaft gear is replaced, the centre bolt must also be replaced. A shorter belt is also required. For engines with a modified crank drive due to e. g. H-beam conrods , forged pistons and/or crankshaft, we recommend our harmonic vibration damper .
