AIRTEC MOTORSPORT COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT – UPGRADE MAZDA 3 MK2 MPS
As part of Mazda""s expanding product range, AIRTEC Motorsport launches the top-mount intercooler upgrade suitable for track or street use.
To ensure there is no noticeable loss of performance during long periods of hard driving, a larger, smoother intercooler has been developed as a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM item.
The solution to increase the size and performance of the intercooler, within the constraints of the limited space under the bonnet, is based on a 75 mm wider and higher core. This offers a massive 66% increase in overall capacity compared to the stock intercooler, as well as a significant increase in frontal area compared to standard, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.
Together with the high-flow end tanks and air diverter, to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than standard. Assembly is a simple process using the original hose connectors and comes with all necessary accessories.
Proven to be a great upgrade for remapped examples to help reduce charge temperatures associated with increased boost pressure.
