AIRTEC Motorsport Front Mount Intercooler Upgrade for Focus ST Mk4
Developed and manufactured at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, the front-mount intercooler upgrade is suitable for Mk4 Focus ST models modified for track or road use.
With limited space available behind the front bumper layout of the Mk4 Focus model, the solution to increasing the size and performance of the intercooler is based on the design that makes full use of the area. The core goes from 85mm to 35mm and in doing so offers a huge increase in overall capacity compared to the stock intercooler. It also offers a notable increase in frontal area compared to the standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.
Together with our high-flow molded one-piece cast end tanks and an internal air diverter, to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than the standard item.
Despite this huge improvement, the kit fits perfectly behind the original bumper and requires only minor refinements and can be brought back to standard without any problems. It attaches to the original boost pipes and the kit comes complete with fittings which allow the intercooler to snap into place easily. The complete assembly kit includes all necessary accessories, as well as detailed instructions.
The intercooler is available in a Pro-Series Black finish, with or without the AIRTEC logo.
