Description

The complete 8-piece kit consists of three hoses made of lightweight aluminum for greater strength, so they do not break even with increased boost pressure, and five Pro Hoses silicone hoses to make assembly as easy as possible.

As part of our expanding VAG product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our enlarged turbo inlet PIPE upgrade for the MQB Evo engine (300-320 HP), suitable for track or fast road use.

Developed in-house at AIRTEC""s UK headquarters, we""ve created a complete solution to enhance the car""s original piping, allowing for more flow and capacity, whilst reducing restrictions and improving response.

The complete 8-piece kit consists of three hoses made of lightweight aluminum for greater strength, so they won""t break even with increased boost pressure, and five Pro Hoses silicone hoses to make assembly as easy as possible.

For the cold side from the intercooler to the throttle body, the stock piping starts at 60mm and tapers to 58mm in diameter, but our replacement features a 70mm internal diameter until it reaches the throttle body, increasing both flow and capacity.

On the hot side coming from the turbo to the intercooler, the stock piping measures 60mm, while our kit features an internal diameter of 63mm end to end with no restrictions. It also eliminates the original resonator, which VW fits to reduce noise, but removing it improves flow, capacity and noise.

The kit requires no additional drilling or cutting for assembly and comes complete with all the correct fixings and accessories, as well as detailed instructions.

An essential element for all modified Golf R Mk8 models, as it helps to improve the flow and efficiency of the supercharging system.
