Description

As part of our expanding BMW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our brake cooling package for the E90, E92 and E93 M3 models.

On the track, braking during heavy use can be affected by heat buildup, but better ventilation directly on the internal fins of the brake disc can effectively reduce temperatures.

To develop a truly effective brake cooling package, we focused on providing as much airflow as possible to the brake disc. After trying and testing different duct diameters, we calculated that a single 71mm pipe feeding two 51mm pipes would be much more effective than a single pipe. In fact, our combination provides a 26% increase in airflow over a single 63mm tube used by other kits on the market.

As a result, the carrier plates feature a unique dual-feed design that fits directly into the hub. The complete kit includes heavy-duty ducting, as well as custom-made air duct splitters along with all fixtures and fittings, including a detailed fitting guide.

The package was developed on our track demo car, which features a popular aftermarket big brake kit and GT4 style front splitter, and as a result the kit has been adapted to fit this combination, but can be made to fit any combination of brake kit and bumper/splitter setup.

Attention: A small cut to the supplied support plate may be required to fit some unusual brake caliper mounting brackets.
