AIRTEC MOTORSPORT – BMW S55 OIL COOLER

Description

As part of our expanding BMW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our oil cooler kit for the S55 engine suitable for track or fast road use.

Our kit has been designed in the UK following extensive research and huge experience developing upgraded oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars.

The challenge
With limited space available and the complexity of relocating the standard oil cooler, we chose to use the original mounting location and create a direct replacement oil cooler that was larger and stronger, as OEM items are known to be easily damaged.

The solution
We used a bar and plate core for added strength and also increased the size of the core to the maximum that would fit in the space provided, whilst still attaching them to all the original fittings and mounts. The result is an easy-to-assemble kit that requires no cutting or drilling, yet offers a 45% increase in capacity and increased durability.

Finished in a high quality black powder coat, its increased cooling efficiency and ease of fitment make it an essential modification for all modified S55 models or those looking for a direct replacement for a tired or damaged original oil cooler.
