Considerations
The efficiency of a turbocharged engine is directly affected by the inlet air temperature (IAT) and the back pressure in the system. A crucial, but often overlooked, aspect is having sufficient airflow before the compressor to avoid pressure spikes. Less vacuum and cooler air allows the turbo to produce more mass which ultimately means more air in the intake – in summary, this means noticeable power gains. There are great power gains to be gained with a good induction system! Over our years in this industry, with countless hours of evaluation and development, we have seen the consistent connection between IAT, sufficient airflow to the compressor, and the impact this has on production.

We began development by 3D scanning the entire designated area on the car. This allowed us to work sensibly, with products in our CAD environment using SolidWorks. The entire air filter system is optimized for airflow and the radii and angles are reworked many times to achieve the best result! The finished product is verified with both Computer Flow Dynamics (CFD) and our Superflow SF1020 flow bench. All efforts are made to offer real and reliable data for you as a customer.
