Dogbone mounting insert from Airtec Motorsport, updated for the MQB EA888 platform suitable for track or road use.

The original lower rear pair attachment is made of flexible rubber that has a large void inside it. This allows engine movement, which numbs throttle response and gear changes. The frame also wears over time, thus allowing excess movement, which gradually worsens.

Replacing the soft rubber support with a solid element that eliminates the void helps to limit any movement, therefore improving the overall driving sensation. Gear changes are quicker, accelerator response is more immediate and, despite being stiffer, ride quality is not sacrificed, introducing no noticeable vibrations or road noise.

It does not wear out over time.
