Description

Competition intercooler kit by Wagner Tuning, for Mercedes-Benz.

The Wagner Tuning high-performance intercooler has the following network dimensions: 640 mm x 200 mm x 110 mm = 14,080 cm³. It offers a 25% larger inflow surface and a 110% larger charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh has excellent cooling and back-pressure properties. The weight of the intercooler is 10.5 kg. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized in the CFD system under flow analysis, for the best possible internal air flow. This ensures that the intercooler is filled evenly. The original snap connections have been eliminated and the connection diameter at the inlet and outlet has been expanded to Ø70mm. The kit therefore includes two reinforced silicone hoses and a cast aluminum pressure hose. Complete kit ready for installation from turbo to throttle. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible back pressure. Therefore, this kit is suitable for racing. Furthermore, it features an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties, which ensures permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Assembly takes place at the original fixing points and is easy to carry out (1:1 change).
