The 2.0LM 133 turbo engine of the specified A-Class models from AMG is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. The charge air cooling process is therefore not carried out (as usual) with ambient air as the cooling medium, but carried out with the aid of a separate cooling water circuit. Consequently, even a reduction in cooling water temperature must be directly equated with an improvement in charge air cooling performance. The newly developed racing net of the WAGNER TUNING high-performance water cooler increases the volume of the standard water cooler by 77%. The used ratio between the internal and external cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows adjacent components (e.g. the engine water cooler behind it) to have sufficient air flow for heat exchange. Furthermore, with the help of the increased amount of cooling water, the entire heating system can be kept at a lower level for a longer period of time.

All WAGNER TUNING water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating to ensure a permanent cooling effect. The assembly of the system is also simple and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.
