The Malossi staff has worked to further improve one of
its must-have products, the true point of reference for all T-maxists:
the legendary Multivar MHR for Yamaha T Max!
From the desire to renew the transmission system to fully exploit its exceptional technical characteristics Multivar was born
MHR Next. This new variator, developed from many years of experience
acquired on the racing circuits and from the Cad-Cam technology available today, represents the evolution of the previous generations of
variators and offers performance results at the highest levels.
As clearly highlighted by the shifting curve, the work of the technicians has
concentrated on further expanding the operating range of the
variator, in particular the gear short, thus obtaining even more
acceleration and pick-up and improving shifting linearity, while
keeping the engine speed almost unchanged throughout the variator""s
shifting phase.
Malossi has outdone itself! We have further reduced the tolerances between
hub and bushing, reducing roughness to a minimum, to obtain a truly unsurpassed
variator!

Further extended shifting range, especially the short
gear.
Improved shifting linearity throughout the entire phase
Gear treatment black hard anodizing
Roller sliding ramp modified to allow greater
linearity of operation in order to maintain the maximum power
regime
Sliding bush in rectified casehardened steel
Hub in rectified chrome-plated casehardened steel
New monolithic rollers in even more high-performance material
Supplied with two different sets of rollers and two shims that they allow
to vary the speed of your scooter""s shifting curve,
perfectly regulating speed and acceleration.

NB: To further improve performance we recommend
combining it with the new X K Belt MHR belt (art. 6114674).

With a variator of such technical sophistication, don""t be surprised if your
scooter acquires a click, a linearity of shifting, a
greater mechanical ""tranquility"" when traveling at high speeds and a
consistency of performance unknown to the basic version.
Dekra Certification GmbH has certified that Malossi, in the production of
complete variators CVT groups, has introduced and effectively applies a
quality management system compliant with the requirements of the
German and international road traffic law (KBA).
