The competitive high-performance intercooler has the following network dimensions (580 mm x 437 mm x 56 mm = 14,193 cm³) and thus offers a 226% larger inflow area and a 246% larger charge air volume than the original intercooler. The newly developed racing performance mesh (tubular fin) ensures that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still have sufficient airflow and is also very light. The intercooler has a total weight of only 7.6 kg. The die-cast aluminum end boxes were created in CAD and optimized for the best possible internal airflow with the help of CFD simulations. An air duct integrated into the terminal box allows for homogeneous filling of the competition""s high-performance network. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been enlarged to Ø 65mm, so this kit comes with reinforced silicone hoses. Overall, this intercooler has much lower back pressure than the standard intercooler. Additionally, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. Assembly takes place by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to carry out (plug and play).
