Thanks to the mechanical tensioner pulley, your timing belt always has a constant pre-tension. Please check the tension regularly and adjust the tensioner pulley if necessary. (Our mechanical tensioner pulley has a slightly larger hole for the stud bolt, but this is harmless after tightening the nut) We also recommend replacing the belt pulley on the crankshaft or installing our TFSI & TSI HIGH TORQUE belt pulley kit directly.
