The 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine of the Audi RS4 / RS5 has an indirect intercooler circuit fitted. The charge air cooling process is therefore not implemented (as usual) with ambient air as the cooling medium, but with the help of a separate cooling water circuit. Consequently, even a reduction in cooling water temperature must be directly equated with an improvement in charge air cooling performance. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING Upgrade water chiller come into play.
The new racing network of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increases the cooler volume of the standard water cooler by a total of 55%. The used ratio between the internal and external cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows adjacent components (e.g.). Furthermore, the water coolers are equipped with a thermally conductive anti-corrosion coating, so that a permanent cooling effect is guaranteed. The installation of the system is also simple and plug & play with the help of our installation instructions.
