AIRTEC Motorsport launches the intercooler upgrade for the 2.3 EcoBoost model suitable for track or road use.

To ensure there is no noticeable loss of performance during long periods of hard driving, a larger, smoother intercooler has been developed that directly replaces the smaller, more restrictive OEM item.

The solution to increase the size and performance of the intercooler, within the constraints of the limited space behind the bumper, is based on a taller core with an increased depth of 90mm. This offers a massive 107% increase in overall capacity over the original intercooler, as well as an 84% increase in frontal area over the standard, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.

Together with our high-flow moulded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure the flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than the standard.
