AIRTEC Motorsport launches intercooler upgrade for the 2.3 EcoBoost model suitable for track or road use.

To ensure there is no noticeable loss of performance during long periods of hard driving, a larger, smoother intercooler has been developed as a direct replacement for the smaller, more restrictive OEM item.

The solution to increase the size and performance of the intercooler, within the limits of the limited space behind the bumper, is based on a higher core with a greater depth of 90 mm. This offers a huge 107% increase in overall capacity compared to the stock intercooler, as well as an 84% increase in frontal area compared to standard, allowing it to make the most of the airflow provided.

Together with our high-flow molded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume than standard.
