As part of our expanding B58 platform product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our oil canister upgrade for the M140i and M240i models suitable for track or fast road use.

Oil recovery containers are a critical preventative addition to ensure that the performance and efficiency of direct injection engines do not deteriorate over time.

AIRTEC Motorsport""s solution for developing a model-specific collection kit uses the available space to integrate perfectly within the engine compartment. It features a high quality laser cut bracket finished in powder coated matt black, allowing the locking jar to snap neatly into place.

The can itself features an internal baffle and dipstick and detaches to allow for easy maintenance. Comes with a complete mounting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide.

Why do I need a collection jar?
The original oil breather setup can cause problems with carbon buildup within the engine intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that coats parts of the inlet and intake valves, reducing airflow and therefore performance and efficiency.

Once the buildup has formed, it is an expensive process to clean up, so it makes sense to take preventative measures to prevent carbon buildup from forming. A capture device also filters harmful contaminants before they can reach the inlet system.

PLEASE NOTE: Will NOT fit standard air box - will fit most aftermarket induction kits that use the replacement shield setup.
