As part of our expanding VW product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our oil collection kit for the Mk7 Golf R for use on the road or track.

Oil recovery containers are a critical preventative addition to ensure that the performance and efficiency of direct injection engines do not deteriorate over time.

AIRTEC Motorsport""s solution for the development of a specific collection kit for the Golf R model uses the available space to integrate perfectly inside the engine compartment. It features a high quality laser cut bracket finished in powder coated black, which allows the collection can to snap neatly into place and also positions the new washer fluid reservoir filler.

The can features an internal micron filter, baffle and dipstick and detaches to allow for easy maintenance. Comes with a complete mounting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide.

Why do I need a collection jar?
The original oil breather setup can cause problems with carbon buildup within the engine intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that coats parts of the inlet and intake valves, reducing airflow and therefore performance and efficiency.

Once the buildup has formed, it is an expensive process to clean up, so it makes sense to take preventative measures to prevent carbon buildup from forming. A capture device also filters harmful contaminants before they can reach the inlet system.
