Description

BR series coilovers use a large 46mm diameter piston in a 53mm diameter shock body to maximize oil capacity. During operation of the damper unit, the oil contained inside heats up. The viscosity of the oil changes as its temperature varies, which can lead to changes in the damping characteristics of the unit. BC Racing uses only the highest quality oil with its coilovers, but goes that extra mile to maximize performance and build its BR range with a large 53mm diameter shock body. This increases the capacity of the unit, which increases the volume of oil contained, which in turn reduces the peak temperature and therefore significantly improves the performance of the shock absorber.
