The high-performance intercooler has the following network dimensions (515 mm x 367 mm x 95 mm [stepped] = 16,500 cm³) and thus offers an 84% larger inflow area and 101% more charge air volume than the original intercooler. The newly developed racing performance mesh provides adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient airflow. It is a network of high-quality tubular fins with internal turbulators. The intercooler end boxes are made of cast aluminum and have been optimized using flow analysis in the CFD system. With the help of the air deflectors integrated into the inlet, the intercooler is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest possible back pressure. Therefore, this kit is suitable for racing. Additionally, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures permanent, optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and original crossmember form a stable unit and, thanks to the new high-performance racing mesh, it weighs just 11.7 kg. Assembly is carried out at the original fixing points and is easy to carry out (for small adjustments, see assembly instructions). Tested up to 6 bar and pressure stable.
