After over a year in our R&D department focused on design, fit and finish, Forge Motorsport is proud to present a carbon fiber intake for the latest 1.8 and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines. It combines an extremely unique, desirable and attractive appearance with the ability to deliver real-world power increases. While the VW/Audi group got good intake, we were able to force feed even more cold air into our intake by running it across the full width of the flap and taking advantage of the cold air ducts that VW/Audi put in from the factory, but didn""t use.

Real carbon fiber is finished in gloss, this results in a true premium product for your car that far surpasses other intakes at the same price and puts those with an even higher price tag to shame.

It offers more sound from the engine, particularly when in boost mode, and our product testers also reported a more responsive throttle. The filter element itself is supplied by Pipercross and is fully serviceable or replaceable if required. In our testing, it was the only type of filter able to offer adequate filtration to the engine, while still being able to flow enough air to offer an increase in horsepower and torque.

The kit comes complete with everything needed for installation, which can be done in approximately 30 minutes, including a set of color instructions.

We have now developed an inlet pipe to support vehicles using a MAF sensor, please ensure you select the appropriate inlet pipe options when purchasing, the MAF inlet pipes are shown below. The image on the left is what your stock engine bay should look like if you have a MAF sensor inlet, if you have the circled part on your vehicle, you will need to purchase the MAF hoses option on the inlet hose drop down menu.
