This complete kit features a full front input socket, which extends to the full width of the radiator support. Provides the huge, custom-designed cotton air filter with a constant flow of cool, fresh air. This design ensures a direct and efficient airflow path to the turbo while maintaining adequate filtration.

With an aerodynamic aesthetic, the intake system demonstrates how well form can meet function. The clean and minimalist design complements the engine compartment and highlights the quality and performance of the system.

Made of the highest quality, vacuum infused prepreg carbon fiber (2x2 weave), the do88 air filter housing provides strength, durability and a great look. A glossy transparent layer resistant to UV rays and heat guarantees an exceptional appearance and surface protection without the risk of yellowing over time.

The system is compatible with both stock and larger turbo inlet pipes, making it versatile and compatible with almost any setup. With the addition of our separately sold high-performance inlet hoses, you can effectively eliminate all airflow bottlenecks before the supercharger housing, allowing your turbo to breathe without restrictions!

Features:

• Custom designed large cotton air filter with tightly woven cotton gauze fabric. The filter is delivered without filter oil applied. Therefore, it is recommended to apply cotton filter oil to the air filter to increase air filtration if you drive the car in dusty environments. Choose the BMC filter oil, code.
• Washable air filter for optimal performance and long life.
• We recommend cleaning the air filter every 10,000 km. Use an all-purpose cleaner designed for cotton air filters. do88 offers BMC flushing liquid, suitable for this purpose.
• A full front inlet, providing unlimited airflow to the air filter.
• Optimized for tuned engines, hybrid turbos and large turbo kits.
• Up to +16 HP / +30 Nm increase on a Stage 3 vehicle (VW GTI mk7).
• Increases airflow up to 44% over the factory turbo inlet pipe (measured on VW Golf mk8 GTI Clubsport) and up to 84% combined with the do88 performance turbo inlet pipe ( do88-kit240 ).
