Before reading the technical specifications, we inform you that our advice is to absolutely not remove the catalytic converter. The new version of the KSL is available. This product does not replace the previous one, but expands its range. The difference between the two products is the bearable operating temperature. This new model called HKSL can also be installed in cars with very short exhausts or manifolds such as: PORSCHE-FERRARI-LOTUS-etc. In these cars the lambda sensors are very close to the engine. Therefore the exit of the exhaust gases is much hotter and much faster than a car with a long exhaust or manifold, or at least a car with a front engine and the exhaust that runs along the entire length before reaching the exit. Since in this configuration the lambda probes are much further away from the engine than in the versions mentioned above. Then there are other cases such as cars with naturally aspirated or turbo engines, which either due to excessive preparation or lean carburetion find themselves in the same condition of high temperature or high velocity as the exhaust gases. This condition is difficult to bear even for the lambda probes (in many cases of faulty lambda the temperature has played an important role) has led us to re-design and build another new KSL model. The new HKSL is able to withstand temperatures close to 1150 degrees. The high cost of the materials used and the tenfold increase in processing times compared to the previous version have a negative impact on the final price. The new HKSL DOES NOT REPLACE THE PREVIOUS KSL.
