Description

Revised Gen.2 competition intercooler kits for VAG models with 1st and 2nd generation 2.0TFSI and TSI engines.

The competition intercooler has the following mains dimensions (610 mm x 440 mm x 65 mm / 17.45 L) and therefore offers a 10% larger inflow surface area and a 50% larger charge air volume than the original Audi S3 intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh ensures that adjacent components, such as the water cooler, still have sufficient airflow and is also very light (S3 OEM 8kg / WAGNERTUNING 9.2kg). Free-form CAD-developed end boxes with integrated air deflector made of cast aluminum for the best possible internal air distribution.
The CNC machined hose fittings have been widened to Ø67mm, so this kit comes with matching silicone hoses.
Overall, this intercooler has much lower back pressure than the stock radiator.
Additionally, all our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This ensures optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance.
Assembly is carried out by replacing the OEM intercooler and is easy to carry out.
