Description

JE PISTONS is considered by leading European motorsports engine builders to be the piston of choice when building an engine not only for performance, but also to withstand the stresses and rigors of racing life. JE pistons feature a unique PTFE coating on the skirts and a 4032 (T6) alloy grade that allows the engine builder to run a piston closer to tolerate the tolerance it might on another brand piston.

This helps remove squeezing noise during cold starting, common among engines running forged pistons due to larger bore gaps than OE. Piston crowns are also polished to better resist detonation on a high-performance engine. Polishing allows heat to spread more evenly within the chamber, helping to prevent “hot spots” on the piston crowns. The price includes all piston rings and pins.
