Original BAR-TEK: Sport-valve springs-set for 4.0L TFSI engines like in Audi S6 & RS6 Racing feeling for tuning fans: Our original BAR-TEK sport valve springs set made of high-quality tempered steel with titanium spring discs. Suitable for all 4.0L TFSI engines as installed in the Audi S6, RS6, S7, RS7 and S8. These valve springs have an extra adapted spring rate and ensure a faster and better response behaviour of your 4.0L TFSI engine. The spring retainer made of titanium enable a lighter valve drive, more boost pressure and higher revs are no longer a problem. The stability is perfect for very high revs and makes driving your RS6 a lot of fun. More boost pressure or sports camshafts: Now you need our 4.0L sports camshafts valve springs Our sports valve springs are necessary as soon as more boost pressure is driven or when other camshafts are installed. Unfortunately, the original springs often break or the valves do not close properly. Both problems lead to major engine damage! Features: Better and faster response behaviour Higher engine speed possible Easier valve drive due to titanium disc Absolutely stable for high engine speeds More boost pressure possible Up to 70PS & 70NM more with Stage 1 Included in the kit: 32 valve springs made from high-quality tempered steel 32 valve spring retainers made from high-quality titanium We recommend this valve springs kit for 4.0L TFSI engines with modified camshafts and/or for upgrade turbochargers with more boost pressure. Picture similar. Picture shows 4 cylinder spring kit Attention: Our sports valve springs are trimmed for high performance. They are made from a special heat-treated steel that has a high level of strength and toughness. They are specially coated and have a higher material thickness than standard springs. This makes them ideal for sporting use. Not only the material itself, but also the design of our valve springs is something special. Thanks to their oval shape, a larger valve lift is created. Among other things, this increases the speed stability of your engine. The conical design (the spring is narrower at the top) reduces the mass and also has a positive effect on the overall engine running. With the oval shape, we have also eliminated a problem that can be associated with increased power and springs that are too weak. This is because turbocharged engines can have problems with the boost pressure if the valves or the discs and springs are too weak. Bartek explains what this feels like in the video below on valve springs. By optimising the shape, we therefore ensure that the springs can't go on block (and break) and that the correct preload is always applied to the springs. As a result, the engine revs up more smoothly and there are no more problems with the boost pressure.
