TFSI pump bowl with DLC coating for all 2.0 liter TFSI engines.

The tappet for the high pressure pump is subject to very high pressures, tends to wear rapidly and must therefore be checked periodically and replaced if necessary. If it breaks or wears out completely, engine damage is usually pre-programmed. We recommend the controller every 10,000 km and in the ideal case replace it directly.
The tappet is coated on the DLC surface.

DLC is a very resistant carbon coating that is also used in Formula 1 engines. It reduces wear and increases durability.
