Description More power for the T-Max The highest performing engines require an adequate and constant fuel supply. Increasing the performance of the Yamaha T-Max, drawing on the very complete Malossi catalogue, made it essential to create a specific throttle body capable of guaranteeing unthinkable performance for the standard unit. Made of Ergal 7975-T6 and black anodized, the MHR throttle body was specifically designed to achieve maximum performance in /> combination with the Double PowerCam, providing the right suction to the engine in this configuration. The internal diameter of the throttle body expands up to 37 mm, while its length remains identical to the original so that it can be accommodated without difficulty in its standard positioning between the head and the airbox. Its internal ducts are cylindrical close to the horns, to become progressively oval in correspondence with the manifolds. Thanks to this variation in internal shape, the fresh gases are pushed with more energy into the cylinder head which, featuring two intake valves, requires a significant width, offered by the oval section, which continues to the end of the manifold. The specific horns for the MHR throttle body are calculated and optimized for obtain maximum performance from the oval sections of the bodies, taking advantage of the perfect harmonization of the entire duct. The throttle body reuses the original ride by wire system of the throttle control. We recommend combining it with the FM3 control unit art. 5519341 which contains a map dedicated to this throttle body and the Double Power Cam art. 5919140.
